the latest role to hit the grad scheme screen...

In this role, you’ll join our ever-growing development team at The Verve Group and have the opportunity to be hands-on with the industry-changing technology that we build, learn the processes of working in an agile team and help us make change through FinTech.

be a part of a fast-growing, agile team

For this role, join our growing development team as a graduate web developer and immediately get the chance to see our processes and play a part in building the web-based technology that our clients use every single day. We’ll support you every step of the way (supporting students is our bread and butter after all) with mentoring from other team members and your own tailored training and progression plan.

We put a huge importance on ‘making a difference’ and each of us likes to make that difference, in a different way. In your role, you’ll work closely with each member of the team to see our work and process in action and our ideas come to life – it’s here where you’ll find areas that interest you the most and begin to shape your own career. It could be testing, API development or working as a full-stack developer – so, why don’t we find out?

As your role develops, you have the opportunity to take a more active role in developing our applications and take the lead for features and planning how to best deliver them, working with external teams and partners to keep us at the very front of FinTech.

We won’t lie, we’re firm advocates of the phrase ‘work hard, play hard’ and that we do. Yes, there will definitely be times of hard work (so it’s not for the faint-hearted), but we do reward such hard work for those who truly live and breathe the company values. So when the week’s done, we clock off early every Friday and kick back with a cheeky beer or wine.

if you pass your 6 month probation and are one of the lucky ones to be offered a permanent role on the grad scheme, there's a whole host of perks that you'll be entitled to:

A tiered salary structure that's personalised to you - based on your individual role, your qualifications and the experience that you bring to the table.

26 days holiday (including days off at Christmas) PLUS bank holidays AND your birthday off (if it falls on a weekday - because no one should have to on their birthday!)

A Personal Development budget to cover all your training, learning and development costs, so you won't be forking out for your own exam fees or further development.

Access to the company Pension Scheme – because we practise what we preach.

Death in Service Cover – a bit morbid we know, but a nice bit of security nonetheless.

and if that's not enough...

Access to our Health & Wellbeing programme including office yoga, step challenges & assault courses!

A constant flow of drinks and snacks in the office - because it's important to keep the energy levels up.

Company nights out including our Summer Soirée and Christmas Party, we're a social bunch!

Casual dress code - like we've said, no stuffy suits. We much prefer our superhero capes!

'The Tunstall Arms', our staff bar, opens early on a Friday with a well stocked wine & beer fridge.

Optional membership to a wellbeing app; focusing on mindfulness and meditation.
